They ride along with students on buses and provide support during activities, and helps ensure everything runs smoothly. Road Crew
The Road Crew is an awesome volunteer opportunity! Road Crew volunteers handle loading and unloading instruments and props, transporting band equipment, and even helping build props. This lively group offers a fun and engaging way to support the band while being part of the action!
Concessions
Concessions stand volunteers during home football games are essential to the Red Brigade Band’s success! They help serve snacks and drinks to fans, ensuring everyone enjoys the game while raising critical funds for the band. Join this amazing group of volunteers in this fun and rewarding experience!
Publicity
Join the Red Brigade Band help share the Red Brigade Band and Avalon Color Guard story! Through the use of photography, videography, and text we strive to show the passion and dedication of our students across all media avenues. If you have a knack for photography/videography or media expertise, we are looking for you!
Fundraisers
Assist our Fundraising Director with creating opportunities across our local and digital communities to raise funds in our effort to provide students of the Red Brigade Band and Avalon Color Guard the maximum opportunity to showcase their talents, dreams, and ambitions.
Merchandise
Join the Red Brigade Band and Avalon Color Guard Merchandising Committee to help shape our Spirit Store offerings, develop campaign plans around the band's show concept, and assist with Spirit Store operations. US Flag Program
Join the Red Brigade Band in our U.S. Flag Subscription Program, a patriotic fundraiser that brings our community together! Volunteers will install and remove 3'x5' American flags in subscribers’ yards for key holidays, supporting the band’s needs while fostering team spirit. It’s a fun, meaningful way to honor our country and help our talented students shine!
KILLEEN ISD VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
All volunteers must clear a background check and attend Killeen ISD orientation training before beginning volunteer work. This is required each school year.
